How to Flash Lava Z60s with Flash tool

Step 1: Preparation
  1. Download Required Files: Ensure you have all the necessary files for the process. If any download links are broken, leave a comment below for assistance.
  2. Install WinRAR: Download and install WinRAR software on your computer or laptop to extract the downloaded files.
  3. Extract Files: Extract all downloaded files and paste them onto your desktop for easy access.
Step 2: Install Lenovo USB Drivers
  • Install Drivers: Navigate to the Lenovo USB Driver installer and complete the installation process.
  • Restart Your Computer: After installing the drivers, reboot your computer to ensure the drivers are properly configured.
Step 3: Setup SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject
  • Open the Tool: Launch the SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe file from the extracted folder.
  • Load Download Agent File:
    • Go to the File menu and select Open Download Agent File.
    • Choose the MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin file located in the flash tool folder.
Step 4: Load Scatter File
  • Select Scatter File:
    • Click on the Scatter File button.
    • Navigate to the Lava Z60S Firmware folder and select the MT6739_Android_scatter.txt file.
Step 5: Configure Flash Tool
  • Select Options:
    • Tick the BootROM+Preloader COM Sel All option.
  • Scan for Device:
    • Click on the Scan button.
    • Insert the USB cable into the Lava Z60s. The flash tool will automatically detect the COM port.
    • Once detected, disconnect the phone from the USB.
Step 6: Start the Flashing Process
  • Configure Flashing Options:
    • Untick all options except for the detected COM port.
  • Initiate Flashing:
    • Click on the Start All button.
    • Reconnect the USB cable to the device.
    • Note: If the phone is not detected the second time, remove the battery, reinsert it, and then connect the phone again.
Step 7: Wait for Completion
  1. Completion: Wait until the flashing process is completed. This may take several minutes, so be patient.
  2. Disconnect Device: Once the process is finished, disconnect your Lava Z60s from the USB cable.
