Today Launch in India Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro Expected Price & Specifications

Redmi Note 7 will be launched today in India. Xiaomi is also expected to bring the Redmi Note 7 Pro to its launch event in New Delhi alongside Redmi Note 7. The event will start today at 12 pm IST (Noon) and will be broadcast live for the masses. The Redmi Note 7 features a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 48-megapixel sensor. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is, however, speculated to debut with a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel sensor. Last month, Xiaomi officially launched Redmi Note 7 in Chain.

The launch event Redmi Note 7 will start today at 12 pm IST (Noon). Both online portals have already featured dedicated microsites. The dedicated microsites have highlighted the new models ' gradient reflective glass design, ample battery capacity and splash protection. In addition, a recent teaser suggested a Redmi Note 7 variant with a fingerprint sensor on display.

Expected Price in India

The price of Redmi Note 7 in India is expected to match what was announced last month in China. The smartphone is available for the 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage option at CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,600), while the 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 12,800) for the 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage variant and the 6 GB RAM / 64 GB storage option has a price tag of CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 14,900). It is also available in the color options Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue and Bright Black.


Xiaomi has not yet officially released Redmi Note 7 Pro. However, it was initially rumored that the smartphone arrived with a price tag of CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 16,000). Last week, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing suggested that Redmi Note 7 Pro could reach approximately CNY 2,000 (about Rs. 21,300).

Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro recently leaked press renders also indicated their Indian variants ' color options. Redmi Note 7 is likely to come with black, blue and red colors, while Redmi Note 7 Pro will have black, gradient blue and gradient red colors.

Specifications for Redmi Note 7

Redmi Note 7, which is the first model under the Xiaomi brand Redmi, sports a 6.3-inch full-HD + display (1080x2340 pixels) along with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There's a Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood, coupled with up to 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

The Redmi Note 7 has a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor and a f/1.8 lens for photos and videos. There is also a secondary sensor with 5 megapixels. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel sensor on the front of the selfies part.

The Redmi Note 7 connectivity options include 4 G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm headphone jack. A fingerprint sensor is on the back. Finally, Xiaomi supplied a battery of 4,000mAh with Quick Charge 4 support.

Expected Specifications for Redmi Note 7 Pro

Xiaomi has not revealed the Redmi Note 7 Pro's key specifications. However, the new phone could have hardware similar to the original Redmi Note 7, taking into account the historical record of the Redmi Note models.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro, however, is confirmed to have a primary Sony IMX586 48-megapixel sensor on the back. A Snapdragon 675 SoC is also expected.
