Samsung now looks to introduce two new models in the Galaxy A-Series with LCD displays. The company plans to rejig its Galaxy A series and expand its portfolio to display LCDs. To remember, all Galaxy A-Series phones launched last year only had OLED displays, but this would change. The company might want to recover its lost sales figures by introducing cheaper Galaxy A models to expand its customer base. Samsung will also launch a new Galaxy M series in India later this month, and this new series is expected to merge the Galaxy J and Galaxy On series into a new, affordable lineup of devices.

Coming back to the Galaxy A-Series, South Korean media ETNews reports that two new smartphones–Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A60–will be launched in the Galaxy A-Series and both will be displayed on LCD displays. LCD is always cheaper than OLED, allowing Samsung to cover the mid to low-end range.
It is reported that the Galaxy A-Series is a mixed bag with both LCD and OLED display phones. The report states that industry estimates that between 2,5 and 3 million Galaxy A10 units will be delivered per month. " The introduction of LCD models to the Galaxy A series from Samsung is a strategy to increase responsiveness in the medium to low-end phone market. Galaxy A series is being extended to extend the customer base, "adds the report.

The Samsung Galaxy A60 was recently launched in April at approximately Rs prices. 25,000. 25,000. It was said that it was launched in certain regions as the Galaxy A8s Lite, which indicates the presence of a hole-punch display. In the first half of 2019, Samsung has also added up to nine new models to the Galaxy A Series. For its new Galaxy A models, it is common to consider in-display fingerprint sensors, a ToF 3D sensor, dual or triple rear camera setups and infinity-O display panels.

Samsung is currently hosting the launch of the Galaxy M series in India on 28 January, while new models will be on sale in India beginning on 5 February. The new Galaxy M-series phones will sport Infinity-V display panels and feature at least two rear camera configurations, as confirmed last week by a formal teaser.
