This tutorial tested by me without any risk, just need to remember some impotent notes for data, if you use this tutorial then remember first if you use this tutorial then you can't save data like contacts, mp3, videos, photos because this is factory reset so remember this topic because impotent this step and also check your device battery if low so you can't use this tutorial and check also volume up and down key and power because if this tutorial use then need to three keys for hard reset. You can done problem like Pattern lock, restarting problem, hang on logo, security lock from this tutorial.

Uni-Android Tool V-4.0 HERE or Android Multi tool HERE

• Micromax Bolt A40 device with good battery charged
• Uni-Android Tool V-4.0 or Android Multi tool
• Micro usb cable
• Computer or Laptop

• Download Uni-Android Tool V-4.0 or Android Multi tool both tool is same but developer are different you can use any tool of above both tool 
• Extract it from rar file
• Open Uni-Android tool (because tutorial done by this tool but you can use other tool)
• Insert battery in to device (battery must charged up to 50%)
• Press and hold Volume Down + Power until fastboot mode show on device display after leave all keys (keys must be working)
• Now Insert usb cable in to device (must be working usb socket)
• Press '8' key Wipe Data/Cache on Fastboot Mode's option
• Wait until wipe data/cashe
• You are done
